Probate Valuations.

Probate is required by law on all deceased estates and the burden of proof is the work of the executors appointed in the will. The overriding expectation of all executors is that they discharge their duties as required by law and as faithful to the deceased intentions.

When items have not been specifically bequeathed, a valuation provides the means for a fair distibution between family members. If required, we can oversee the safe delivery of bequeathed or chosen objects and arrange for the remainder to be submitted for sale to an approved auction room and the property cleared. The valuation provides a good basis should the client wish to sell by private treaty and give a guide to auction expectations.
