A professionally detailed inventory of the contents of your home can help to give peace of mind.
As most homes are built up gradually over the years, sometimes with the addition of bequeathed and acquired items, it can be very difficult to fully appreciate the current value of the goods you own. This can leave you under-insured which in turn can leave you even further under compensated should you be the victim of burglary, fire or flood.
The illustration of major or unusual items can be of assistance to the police when attempting to reunite owners with their recovered possessions.
Assistance with Insurance Claims
Should you be in the position of having to make an Insurance claim on items that have not been professionally valued, we can provide a retrospective valuation by talking you through the items, possibly with the help of snaps which feature them in the background.
This is not ideal: we recommend a professional valuation before you need to claim.
Regular Updates
Every five years we will remind you that you should have your insurance valuation updated. With the original valuation kept on file, the update will require only a brief revisit to establish any changes. Meantime, any items purchased can be valued on an individual basis and added as an addendum to the valuation.
